The mild and sunny year-round climate and the superb facilities mean that a holiday at this Provencal villa is never without an activity, even off-season. Catering for the active and less energetic, with an infinity-edge heated, 15m x 6m saltwater pool, a range of indoor and outdoor games and sporting equipment, plentiful wine, and numerous indoor and outdoor quiet areas there is room for everyone to simply unwind and enjoy. We can provide advice on a range of services to help you maximize your precious time.

Outdoor Entertainment

The Pools

There are 2 heated* saltwater pools. The larger 15m x 6m pool is flanked by 10 sun loungers, parasols and the shaded summer kitchen and lounge. An infinity edge adds drama, and an underwater seat running along the length of the pool is ideal for cooling off. The smaller pool for younger kids to splash around is available upon request.

The large pool has an electric pool cover. "Safe T" turtle wristbands for children. We would draw your attention to the infinity edge and urge you to exercise the utmost caution at all times.

*Pool heating is included during peak season, but at an additional cost in May and September.

Boules Court

Underneath the pool terrace you'll find a rowing machine and some free weights. A ping pong table is set up for impromptu touraments.

In front of the Pigeonnier tower, with a spectacular view over the valley, a floodlit boules area (with spectator seating) awaits those who can't sit still.

Sporting Equipment

A couple of road bikes (and protective helmets) are available for the more adventurous to explore the surrounding countryside. If the entire house wants to get on a bike and ride, local bicycle rentals including e-bikes (or even quad bikes) can be found within 5 minutes' drive. High end bikes can be rented and delivery can be arranged to the house.

World class golf is available 10 minutes away at the European Tour destination Terre Blanche course, and 2 sets of men's and women's golf clubs are available for use.

At home massage and beauty treatments are available and arrangements are also in place for the use of a local private gym.

Indoor Entertainment

The SONOS media system at La Bastide delivers music from your own device to all communal areas. Hi speed fibre wifi is available throughout the house and grounds. Apple TV access and SkyTV channels are available on the internet enabled TV’s. Board games and an extensive library of books to suit all tastes are all available.

Sports enthusiasts can watch live summer sports from around the world in our very own 'Bar des Trois Arches' under the main terrace.
