The outdoors is a big part of life at La Bastide, and the mild climate encourages a huge range of flowering plants and shrubs. La Bastide is surrounded by 12000m2 of gardens, with both groomed and wilder areas to explore.
Extensive lawns in front of the house and around the pool terrace are perfect for lawn games. Below the 17th century 'Pigeonnier' (stone tower) and around the grounds are paths that meander through the olive terraces and fruit trees, encouraging you to stroll around and discover the property.
Behind the house, a smaller manicured area with superb views towards Montauroux and Callian is the ideal spot for long lunches, sunset cocktails and evening barbeques. Rejuvenate your senses, and rediscover nature and the simple life at this beautiful Provençal villa.
The heated, 15m x 6m salt water pool has an infinity edge, and there is a second 'baby' pool below for younger kids to splash around. An underwater ledge runs along the length of the large pool, ideal for sitting and chatting with a cool drink in your hand.
Safety is a priority. The large pool has an electric pool cover. "Safe T" turtle wristbands for children are available; and the 'baby' pool remains covered unless otherwise requested. Please remain aware of the inherent danger of swimming pools, in particular the infinity edge, and exercise the utmost caution at all times.
